It's "Leprechaun's Day" as the girls call it -- and our house was FULL of chatter and wonder very early this morning! Grace and Maggie had set their leprechaun trap last night before bed. They were chomping at the bit this morning to see if they caught one! Alas, we did not catch a leprechaun again this year. But, a few of them lost their hats in our house -- a couple with tuffs of hair still attached! So, we are getting closer! Those silly leprechauns postered our house with their artwork, ate our green M&Ms, colored Izzy's water green and dumped baskets of stuffed animals all over the girls rooms! They also left gold coins and shamrock confetti EVERYWHERE! Oh, what a mess to clean up! But, the girls were thrilled! The girls couldn't wait to get to school and tell their teachers and friends. And, as a special St. Patrick's Day treat for their class, we made shamrock cookies -- each personalized with a name of a kid or a teacher (the girls' idea!). Happy St. Patrick's Day all!
